The Center held its first ever NAMD developer workshop as a two-day event at the University of Chicago, Illinois. The workshop featured talks from principal NAMD developer James Phillips, as well as instruction from Center faculty and associates Sanjay Kale, Benoît Roux, and Christoph Chipot. The 14 participants included both previous contributors the NAMD code base, as well as programmers interested in becoming involved in future development, ranging from students to postdocs, university faculty and staff, as well as non-academics.
