I would like to thank you ALL for your time and support on this forum and
let you know that it is GREATLY appreciated.

I was getting a syntax error with my paratool generated .com (for geometry
optimization) files, It is fixed now. I am using paratool on windows system
and using gaussian from a remote location on a unix environment. I generate
the com file on my windows system and then transfer it to unix location to
use it for gaussian. On converting it first from dos to unix and THEN using
it on gaussian fixed it.
