Hi,

My platform is window XP and VMD version (opengl) is 1.8.3

   Dose anyone know how to set up the size and position of display
before VMD starts up and after VMD's loading a pdb file, how to
resize and move the VMD display ?

Here are the situations,

Before VMD starts up,

I try " vmd -pos 100 100 -size 500 500 " in the command line.

The size of display works, but the position fails.

Then I try to set the environment variables VMDSCRSIZE and VMDSCRPOS
in vmd.rc file.

None of them works.

After VMD loading a pdb file,

I knew that "display resize" doesn't work in window XP.
and I can't move the VMD display, neither. For example "menu display
move 100 100"

Is there any alternative for setting both size and position of
display "before and after" VMD starts up ?

PS:
However, Linux version works for size and position of VMD display in
all situations.
