Hi,
The 'srad' parameter is described in the text of the VMD User's Guide here:
http://www.ks.uiuc.edu/Research/vmd/current/ug/node121.html#6839
It's the amount by which each atom's radius is extended (the probe radius)
to find points on a sphere that are exposed to solvent. Normally one would
use a value of 1.4 for srad (angstroms).
