Hi,
The drivers from Xi-graphics (www.xi-graphics.com) should do the trick,
however beware that not all AGP bridges are supported. 3Dlabs suggests the
use of Xi-graphics drivers.
Today I've installed the Xi-graphics drivers for ATI Radeon 8500 on a
Linux - it gives VERY nice quad-buffered stereo in VMD :)
Best regards,
Mads

Hi Will,
What X server and 3Dlabs drivers are you running currently?
Do you have any of these Wildcat cards doing stereo with any
other applications? I had talked to the 3Dlabs people before
Siggraph last year about getting stereo support on Linux, but
at the time they indicated that they did not support stereo on
Linux and weren't likely to in the near future. Do you know for
sure that your Wildcat cards are providing stereo OpenGL support
under Linux? VMD always asks for a stereo-capable X visual when it
starts up, so if it isn't getting one, I'd first check into whether
or not the Wildcat card is actually providing one. I will be going
to Siggraph later this month, so while I'm there I'll be sure to talk
to the 3Dlabs guys about this if we haven't resolved it already by
then. Let me know about the X server and drivers you're running and
we'll go from there.
Thanks,
John Stone
