Another way is to use the TkCon shell, available from the VMD
script library. With TkCon you get command completion, syntax
highlighting, and hypertext links to a back trace when an error
occurs in a script.
Assuming you have tkcon.tcl installed in /path/to/tkcon.tcl, here's
a little script to put in your .vmdrc to start TkCon up for you:
proc tkcon { } {
uplevel #0 source /home/justin/vmd/scripts/tcl/tkcon.tcl
}
Just type tkcon to fire it up.
