--On Tuesday night last the lock-room of Mr. J. H. Turpin, near the corner of Jackson street and Brook Avenue, was broken into by thieves and robbed of about eighteen hundred dollars' worth of provisions. The thieves, before escaping, aroused Mr. Turpin's family, but succeeded finally in making off with their booty.
