--We learn from a reliable source that the bodies of over twenty negro children have been taken from Chunky Creek since the Yankees left, who were thrown in by the inhuman scoundrels to get them out of the way. We have heard of other cruelties in the neighborhood of Meridian, which are too horrible to publish.--Brandon (Miss.) Republican
