INTERAMNE´SIA

INTERAMNE´SIA (Phlegon. de Longaev. 1: Eth. Interamnienses, Plin. Nat. 4.21. s. 35), a stipendiary town of Lusitania, named in the inscription of Alcantara, and supposed by Ukert to have been situated between the Coa and Touroes, near Castel Rodrigo and Alineida. (Ukert, vol. ii. pt. 1, p. 398.)
