Armilustrium

A Roman festival for the purification of arms, and celebrated annually on the 19th of October. It marked the end of the campaigning season, as the Quinquatrus marked the beginning of it. See Mommsen, Inscr. Lat. Ant. p. 404; and Livy, xxvii. 37.
