I. Goat-Pan, i. e. goat-shaped Pan, a well-known sylvan deity with goat's feet and rough body, Hyg. Astr. 2, 28.—
II. Acc. to Mel. 1, 4, 10; 1, 8, 10; and Plin. 5, 8, 8, § 46, a kind of goat-shaped men in Africa, perh. the baboon.
