Att. writers (also Inscrr. and Pap., v. infr.) prefer Med. προνοοῦμαι , Th.6.9, etc. (so also X.An.7.7.33, Mem.4.3.12): fut. “-ήσομαι” D.Prooem.43, IG22.1035.18, D.H.8.90, etc.: aor. “προὐνοησάμην” E. Hipp.399, Ar.Eq.421, Antipho 5.43; in Prose mostly προὐνοήθην, Pl. Cra.395c, Lys.3.29, Is.2.46, D.44.64, PSI3.166.34 (ii B. C.) (used in pass. sense by S.E.M.9.404, Gal.2.632): pf. “προνενόημαι” Plb.6.48.2, D.S.12.69 (but inf. “πεπρονοῆσθαι” 17.23), etc.—The sense and constr. are the same as in the Act.: provide, “ταῦτα” Th.4.61, cf.
