II. c. acc. rei, offer, propose, “δίκην” Th.1.39, cf. 2.72, 73, Ar. Ach.984, etc.; “τὰ εἰρημένα” Th.5.37; “τὰς σπονδάς” Ar.Eq.796: with acc. pers. added, προκαλεῖσθαί τινας τὴν εἰρήνην offer them peace, Id.Ach. 652, cf. Pl.Euthphr.5a, Chrm.169c.
