II. Med., remove the hair by means of a pitch-plaster, οἱ βάρβαροι πιττοῦνται τὰ σώματα Theopomp. Hist.195, cf. Luc.Rh.Pr.23; “πιττούμενος τὰ σκέληId.Demon.50, cf. Merc.Cond.33.
