2. metaph., of like feather, closely resembling,βόστρυχος .A.Ch.174, cf. E.El.530 ; νᾶες . consort-ships (or, as others, equally swift), A.Pers.559 (lyr., but λινόπτεροι is prob. cj.); ἀπήνα ., i.e. the two brothers, Eteocles and Polynices, E.Ph.328(lyr.).
