ἐνοικ-ίζω ,
A.settle in a place, plant, fix in, A.Fr.252; “παρά τισί τι ἐ.” Pl.Epin.978c:—Med., “ἀλλοεθνεῖς -ισάμενοι γυναῖκας” J.AJ11.5.4:—Pass., take up one's abode in a place, Hdt.1.68 (so in aor. Med., Th.6.2); also, = ἐνοικέω 1.3, “ἐπιτηδεύμασι” Pl. Ax.371c.
2. introduce a tenant into premises, “ἐ. καὶ ἐξοικίζειν” BGU 1116.18 (i B. C.).
