συμπεραίνω ,
A.accomplish jointly, τι Isoc.4.171, v.l.in E.Med.887:— Med., συμπεραναμένων τῶν . . συνεργῶν αὐτῷ τὴν πρὸς Θηβαίους ἔχθραν had effectually helped him to create the ill-feeling, D.18.163; “ἀπέραντα ξυμπεραίνῃ” Luc.Philops.9:—Pass., to be accomplished simultaneously, “τὰ συμπερανθέντα τάχη” Pl.Ti.39d.
2. finish, work out, ἐπειδὰν συμπεράνωμεν （-αίνωμεν codd.) “τὸν . . λόγον” Gal.6.214:—Pass., ib.15.
II. decide or conclude absolutely, ξ. φροντίδα make up one's mind, E.Med.341; “ς. καὶ κλώθειν ἑκάστῳ τὰ οἰκεῖα” Arist.Mu.401b21; κλῇθρα μοχλοῖς make the doors doubly sure by bars, E.Or.1551 (troch.); ὁ συμπεραίνων (sc. ἀριθμός) the last counted, in a series, Speus. ap. 2. in Logic, Med. συμπεραίνεσθαι conclude syllogistically, draw conclusions, Arist.APr.57b20, EN1094b22:—Pass., to be so concluded, Id.Ph.186a24; τὸ συμπερανθέν the conclusion drawn, Id.EN1146a26; “ἔστω συμπεπερασμένον” Id.APr.42a8; ς. τι κατά τινος ib.66a38.
