ἀποκλαίω , Att. ἀπ-κλάω [α_], fut. -κλαύσομαι: aor. -έκλαυσα:—
A.weep aloud, Hdt.2.121.γ́, etc.; “ἀ. στόνον” S.Ph.695 (lyr.).
2. ἀ. τινά or τι bewail much, mourn deeply for, Thgn.931, A.Pr.637; “ἐμαυτόν” Pl.Phd.117c:—Med., ἀποκλαύσασθαι κακά bewail one/s woes, S.OT 1467; “τὴν πενίαν” Ar.V.564; “τερπνὸν τὸ λέξαι κἀποκλαύσασθαι” E.Fr. 563.
