The fighting Wednesday evening.
During the fight on Wednesday afternoon three pieces of Stuart's Horse Artillery, under Major Breathed, were captured by the enemy at Half Sink, a point near Yellow Tavern.

Death of Gen. J. E. B. Stuart.
During the fight at Half Sink on Wednesday afternoon, Gen. Stuart was shot through the body, the ball enterinGen. Stuart was shot through the body, the ball entering one side of the abdomen and coming out through the back.
He was brought to this city and carried to the residence of Dr. Burwell, where, we learn, he died last night.
