No news from Pocotaligo, except partial accounts of the casualties of the battle of yesterday.
All is now quiet.

Charleston, Oct. 24,--The fight at Pocotaligo resulted in a complete victory for us. Our loss was fifteen killed and forty wounded. The enemy left forty dead on the field.
His total loss, as confirmed by the accounts of prisoners, is not less than 200 killed and wounded. We took eighty small arms.
The enemy's force consisted of six regiments, with one field battery and two boat howitzers.
