Nearly all the preachers in the city have volunteered.
Dr. Summers, Dr. McIntyre, Dr. Huston, and Rev. Mr. Reed, have all joined volunteer companies.
Rev. Jesse B. Ferguson is a member of a cavalry company in the city.
Our ladies, too--God bless them!--are heart and soul in the cause.
