Good Sale of Negroes.
--At a sale, yesterday, of likely lot of negroes, little chaps weighing about forty pounds, (a girl and a boy,) sold for upwards of $1,200 each, while fellows from 18 to 30 years (field hands) brought from $1,400 to$1,700. This does not indicate any misgivings as to the security of the institution.
Old Abe, with all his rall-spiltting notoriety, wouldn't sell for half the money in Chicago.--Warrenton (Ga.) clipper.
