--The Navy Department have received dispatches from Commodore Bell, commanding this squadron, dated U. S. flag-ship Richmond, Messina, 16th February, ult. The Iroquois arrived at Naples on the 30th January, and was remaining there.
On the 15th February an accident occurred, resulting in the death of John Fitzgerald, seaman, and serious but not fatal injury to Joseph Heimmings, seaman, and Lorenzo Messina, musician.
