But besides that there were Maryland companies in the First, Sixth and Seventh Virorize and provide for the organization of the Maryland line.

The batteries were designated: First Mght (Second Maryland) with the cavalry as the Maryland Line during Early's Valley and Maryland Campazey, whom we all honored and loved-nor to any Maryland soldier, officer or private.
