A deserter.
--Patrick H. Bailey, the man who pretended to have lost an arm at Rich Mountain, was proved on Saturday to have been a deserter from Capt. Woolfolk's "Ashland artillery" company, and was sent to jail to be called for by his commanding officer.
He had been sent down on Friday for false pretences and as a suspicious character.
