Tobacco.--The receipts of Tobacco care large at this time and the warehouses very much crowded, and owing to the excess of common grade prices have been lower for the last week, while good and fine English and Continental Tobaccos are selling well. We quote inferior Luge at $2.25@$2.75, good and fine $3@$3.75@$4; interior Leaf $4.75@$5.50; good $6@$7; good and fine English $6.50 @11.50; fine Continental $8@10.50@$14. Wheat--90 cts. for Red; $1 for White. Whiskey.--Quite a demand exists for this article. Those who wish to procure a good article, and understand the state of the market, and the prospect for the future, are sending in their orders for a good article, while it may be had. Among Common Whiskeys. Twenty Per Cent, is worth 65 cents, and Ten per Cent, brings 70 cents. A good article of old Mountain Whiskey cannot be bought for less than $1.25, and from this price up to $2 per gallon.
