t tobacco factories in this city. He was employed the early part of this year as teamster near Yorktown — say till the evacastion of the Peninsula by our troops. He has a wife at Mrs. Fanny Caryer's upper end of Hanover. He has probably gone there, or to some of our camps. He absconded on the 9th inst. Warwick. a bright mulatte, 19 or 20 years old, tall and slender. He was hired this year at the Exchange Hotel, and absconded about three weeks ago, probably with a view of going over to the enemy, but probably could not enter their lines before the commencement of the recent battles on the Chickahominy. Harris, a black boy, about 15 years old. He was hired to Geo. T. Booker, to work on his farm a few miles north of the Chickahominy. He was seen with the enemy shortly before the battle of Hanover Court House. One hundred and fifty dollars will be paid for the apprehension and delivery here of the three, of fifty dollars for any one of them. Lewis Webb. jy 12--4t*
