al troops at Paris, on Tuesday last. Two prominent citizens were arrested and carried away--Mr. John H. Van Dyke, formerly Captain of the Paris Minute Men, and Col. R. T. Caldwell, a wealthy citizen who has been an active States-rights advocate since the commencement of the present troubles.
