Ranaway. --From the subscriber, on the 24th Feb., 1862, a Negro woman, named Eliza, sometimes called Jane. Said negro is about twenty-five years of age, four feet nine inches in height, dark complexion, narrow forehead, and has a scar on the right eyebrow, and his very white teeth; is rather, broad across the shoulders and stoops, slightly; speaks quickly when spoken to; the forefinger on the right hand is off at the first joint. She was hired to G. W. Willis, and left his house on the 24th of February last. She is supposed to be lurking about on the suburbs of the city, near Bacon Quarter Branch, or in Gonchland county, where she has a husband, named Bouldin, belonging to Hecter Davis, of this city. I will pay a reward of $10 if said woman he delivered to me, or any information to that I can get her. Banks Wace, ap 29--3t* Wicksisville. Henrico county.
$50 reward. --I offer the above for my man Riley, if arrested and recured so that I can get him. He left my farm, in the lower part of Henrico, more than six month ago. He is about 50 years of age; of dark color; has a scar on the back of his neck; teeth very good; stammers badly, and is about 5 feet 10 inches high.--He has been engaged in carrying charcoal to Richmond for about 25 years. He is a very shrewd negro, and probably lurking about the camps, near Richmond, under an assumed name, with a pass, perhaps representing himself to be a free man. Also--$35 reward for my man Washington, who left me about a week ago. He is a mulatto, nearly 6 feet high, about 40 years old, and a little bald. He has a wife at Mr. Jno. Gathright's in this county. Address me, Richmond, Va., care of Wm. H. Plessants. ap 25--7t* E. H. Poindexter.
