Tea. --Tea of the most delightful flavor can be made of the tender leaves of the huckleberry tree. Dry the leaves and use them like the product of the flowery land is used, and you will have a beverage in no wise inferior to that produced by Chinese green tea. A great many people are fond of "sassafras tea" This is to be had at all times, and in any quantity. The land in this region of the State is also admirably adapted to the raising of sugar-cane. A good many farmers are raising it this year. Rye coffee is not bad to take, If it has any fault, it is too stimulating. It is, however, better in the shape of coffee than whiskey.
