less and anxious that I cannot write more. Temple's patriotism was of the highest order. He nevwere a great many officers for only a few men. Temple was disappointed. The youngest captain in thearm during the great struggle. In December, Temple was ordered to a recruiting station in Albany.ccessful in instructing his men.
