Negro Delinquents.
--Susan, slave of Dr. Tatum, was arraigned before the Mayor yesterday, charged with stealing sundry articles of clothing and $25 in money from Philip Hirshberg; but Mr. H. seemed to know but little about it, and Sarah was discharged with a slight punishment.
Gabriel, slave of Dr. Edward Warren, of N. C., was arraigned for some practices unbecoming in a negro, and as a runaway; sentence accordingly.
Joe, slave of Susan Bagnall, charged with entering F. W. Bass's boarding-house "burglariously," with intent to steal, was proved by R. H. Mayo not to have entered burglariously, and was let off with 30 lashes — a light sentence, since Joe is a noted thief.
Annanias Mann, a free negro, was arraigned for stealing a coat and pair of boots, $40 in value, from Edward E. Portlock.
As Mr. Portlock, failed to prove Annanias was much more of a sinner than the father so prominently mentioned in the Scriptures — at least he failed to prove that he stole his gar

Election in Chesterfield.
An election was yesterday held in the county of Chesterfield for a member of the House of Delegates to supply a vacancy created by the resignation of Charles T. Friend, Esq. We have received no returns except from the Manchester precinct, where the polls stood: Ambers 159 Gates, 11; Tatum, 2.

--Will be paid for the apprehension of my woman Maria, who left my house on Thursday night last.
She is between 23 and 30 years old, of dark brown or ginger-bread color, of medium height, good countenance, with good front teeth, but has lost one or two eye teeth.
