Castle Thunder.
--The delegate from Pocahontas in the Legislature called at this prison yesterday, and on seeing David Sullivan and Chas Morrison, who had been arrested as deserters from the 34th N. C. regiment, declared they were residents of his county, and the most consummate traitors in it. He expressed a desire to appear on their trial and testify against them.
Sixteen men were received from Dynchburg to be sent to their regiments, and eight from Hanover Junction for the same purpose.
Jno. Carpenter, Isaac Ward, and Philip Ware, Co. C, 5th Va cavalry, were received to undergo sentence of Court-martial.
Constantine Michael, Co. C, 1st Va., was put in as a disaster.
J. M. Jefferson, conscript, sent from Castle Booker for medical treatment, died in the hospital.
B. F. Smith, sent from Lynchburg, Feb. 35th, as a deserter, escaped from the prison.
