Important capture.
--On Saturday last police officers Purrin and Adama, attended by a signal of cavalry, proceeded to Deep in Henrico county, and arrested twenty-five live negroes charged with giving aid and the Federal Government with information which has been highly unrepudiated to the Confederate Government These people are mostly fishermen, and living upon the street are not only well acquainted with the channel but have had opportunities of watching the movements of the Confederate forces, both by land and water.
In several instances they have refusal to act as guides to the Southern soldiers; but are said to have become willing each to the Yankees whenever they could do so. They were arrested under a warrant of Justice Duke, of Henrico, and are now in the county jail awaiting an examination on the charges in that warrant.
The authorities have done well to remove these people from the river, but there are you scores of them left that need attention.
