Stealing watches.
--On Saturday night last, while an auction sale was being made at Mr. Alexander Nott's store, corner of 15th and Main streets, a glass in one of his show cases was broken, and seven or eight watches were taken therefrom.
A negro named Albert, slave to M. Mangum, has been arrested and imprisoned to answer she charge of stealing three gold watches and one sliver one.

--Yesterday morning, officers Seal and Chaikley arrested Henry, Woodson, Harrison, and Edmond, slaves to Jones & Thornton, on the charge of feloniously stealing five gold and three silver watches, from Alexander Nott, on Saturday night last.
