A careful analysis of the status of the Republican Senators reveal the fact that Senators Conness, Cowan, Dixon, Doolittle, Fessenden, Foster, Grimes, Harris, Henderson, Norton, Ramsey, Sherman, Stewart, Trumbull, Van Winkle, Willey, Williams, and possibly Yates, do not endorse the radical anti-administration policy.
Members gone home.
Many Senators and Representatives, in anticipation of the temporary adjournment, left last evening and this morning for their several homes, making the attendance quite thin in both branches to-day.
Many leave this afternoon also, and with other parties going home for the holidays, makes it dull here.
