The following is the first letter: Headquarters 20 and 3d Divisions.army of the Frontier, Dec, 17, 1862. Captain:I have sent Lieut. Willemite and 75 men white river to help you clear that section of band. You and he will join forest and work together. Don't take any of them prisoners.
