A man Shot by his Paramour — Jealousy the cause --The Investigation again Postponed Mrs. Isabella Ould, charged with shooting R. H. Meade at a drinking saloon, kept by the parties, on Franklin street, nearly opposite the Metropolitan Hall, on the 22d of September last, was arraigned before Mayor Saunders yesterday. Mrs. Oulds an English woman, of genteel appearance; she came here from Alexandria after the close of the war, and up to the time this shooting affair took place, lived with Meade on the Most intimate terms. Witnesses for the Commonwealth were called, and a portion of them responded. Previous to the calling of the witnesses for the defence he hoped would be summoned. He moved his Honor either to summon these witnesses at once, or postpone the investigation of the case until some future day. R. H.
