S. notes, [the prisoner is a Yankee;] one presentment against Samuel Campbell for counterfeiting and passing a $5 C. S. Treasury note; six presentments against Squier, slave of J. A. Dudley, for passing Yankee counterfeits of the C. S. Treasury to the amount of $90; one presentment against H. R. Robinson alias Wm. H. Haskins for counterfeiting pay-rolls; one presentment against Michael Vahey for misdemeanor in counterfeiting a pay-roll. The following indictments were on Tuesday, viz: One against Alex. Clayton for attempting to pass a $20 counterfeit C. S. Treasury note; one against Chas. A. Pittman for forgery of the name of John Ambler, Major and Quartermaster, to a note for $1,036; five against A. B. Martin for misdemeanor in stealing letters from the Richmond Post-Office directed to members of the Washington Artillery. Court sits to-day at 11 o'clock.
