Runaway.
--$100 reward for each of the following named Runaways:
1st.
Maria, of dark black complexion, above the usual height for a female, with a scar on the forehead, also one on the right or left jaw, upper lie not covering the two front teeth, slow to reply when first spoken to, Marish ran away on the 16th March last, probably she is in the neighborhood of Petersburg, Va.
2d.
Archer, of a dark copper color, five feet ten or eleven inches high, of a bony frame, thin visage, prominent features, small hazel not eyes, with a foot of a singular shape the second ice being much longer than the first; speaks quickly when spoken to.
3d.
Ben five feet one or two inches high slick black complexion, smooth features, round small head, knock-kneed right leg has been broken half way between the knee and hip; he also speaks quickly.
Ben and Archer left together, on the morning of the 6th instant and may be making their way to the lines of the enemy.

Hustings Court.
--A number of cases, mostly misdemeanors, were disposed of yesterday, as follows:
James Flanagan, permitting his servant Maria to go at large, Fined $10 and costs.
Jerome Diggs, for dealing faro.
Trial continued and accused balled for his appearance at the next term.
John G. Scott, feloniously assaulting with a brick and killing James Powers, on the 15th of June. Examined and sent on for final trial at the next term of Judge Lyons's Court.
This murder occurred in the city jail, where prisoner and deceased were confined.
William, a slave, charged with stealing $100 from Sam Hastings, on the 3d of July. Tried and acquitted.
John H. Day, exhibiting fare for negroes, in a house in the Valley.
Found guilty by the jury and fined $100. The Court sentenced him to twelve months imprisonment in the city jail.
Prisoner's counsel gave notice of his intention to file a bill of exceptions, the Court having overruled his motion to set aside dict.

--Isaac, slave to W. D. Blair, and Virginia Rix, a free negress, were before the Recorder yesterday to answer the charge of harboring a slave named Maria, the property of Adia Taylor, and aiding her to escape from her owner.
A negro girl testified to seeing Maria in Isaac's hack at a very early hour in the morning; but, on being cross-questioned, so contradicted herself that the Recorder continued the examination until Saturday, and admitted the accused parties to bail for t --Isaac, slave to W. Blair, and Virginia Rix, a free negress, were before the Recorder yesterday to answer the charge of harboring a slave named Maria, the property of Adia Taylor, and aiding her to escape from her owner.
