--Postmaster General Horatio King has established a Post-Office at Mount Vernon, and appointed Upton H. Herbert postmaster.
It will receive a regular three times a week supply from Washington.
Mr. King expressed his pleasure that his last official act should be the establishment of an office at that consecrated place.
