Mayor's Court.
--There were an unusually large number of cases before this Court:
John Keller and Jesse M. Rogers, members of Dabney's battery, were charged with having a bottle of quinine supposed to be stolen.
The accused had tried to sell the quinine on 14th street, on Thursday night, and the watchmen hearing of it had followed them, and about 1 o'clock yesterday morning arrested them near the Spotswood House, Rogers giving up the quinine when asked for it and saying that Keller had given it to him — a statement that was denied by Keller.
Rogers told the Mayor the found the quinine and a hundred dollars in money in the street.

The case was continued, and the accused committed till this morning.
Thomas Quinn was charged with robbing James Medders of a pocket-book and three dollars in money.
A watchman said he had arrested the accused the night before on the complaint of Medders, who charged him with knocking him down and robbing him. The robbed man not appearin
