Edward Walsh, charged with assaulting George Jordan, a paroled Yankee prisoner, from Pennsylvania, and attempting to rob him, was arraigned for examination.
Jordan was charged with being in the city, without any papers certifying his right to a residence.
Both cases were continued for a further hearing.
