Runaway
--$25 Reward.--Ranaway, on the 28th day of November last, a negro boy named Beverly.
He is about 15 years old, very black, with rather a flat nose, and perspires in the nose the coldest weather; said boy had a fine set of teeth and is quick when spoken to; he had on when he left a uniform coat and cap. Eight hundred dollars reward.
--Ran away from the agent of the Piedmont Railroad, at Reidsville, N C, two slaves, William and Bill.
William is a dark gingerbread color, about 23 years old, good looking, full face, well formed, about 5 feet 10 inches high.
Bill is the same color and age, not so good looking or sprightly, of fair sense, lips rather thick, mouth large, and teeth rather open, round shoulders, and about 5 feet 8 inches high.
Bill has in his possession new sheep's gray clothes, coat and pants.
William has on clothes of darker color.--They are making their way to Williamsburg, on the Peninsula, by the way of Richmond or Petersburg I will give the above reward for both of them, or the one half for either, delivered to me in jail at Danville, Richmond city, or in any county near the Danville Railroad, and information given me of their being in jail. --Ran away, on yesterday morning, about 11 o'clock, from my residents, on Church Hill, my negro boy, named Jordan Christian, about 19 or 20 years old. He is a jet black, about 5 feet 4 or 5 inches high, and quite intelligent.
He took with him a bundle of clothes, and was dressed quite decently when he left.
He has a father living in New Kent, with a Mr. Duval, and he may be lurking on that neighborhood or is attempting to get to the enemy.
For his arrest and confinement, so that I may get him, I will pay a reward of $300. Jas H Coghill. mh 15--6t

Under Sentences of death.
--The following soldiers, members of Pickett's division, are now confined in Castle Thunder under sentence of death for desertion pronounced by a Court Martial recently convened at Kinston, N. C.: Privates Alexander Mathews, co G, 14th Va reg't; Jas H Watson, co H, and Bartlett Stokes, co K, 88th Va; R W Evans, co K, and Larkin Foster, co A, 53d Va; Washington Adams, Thos A Hiler, James W Hiler, and Wm Toler, co D, 57th Va; Jesse Clayton, co F, 57th Va; James B Gray, William M Overby, Josiah G Evans, and James Bransfield, co I, 57th Va. The 25th of the present month is the time appointed for carrying out the terms of the verdict of the Court-Martial.
There were also committed to Castle Thunder yesterday James R. Thompson and Daniel Evans, arrested while attempting to cross our lines.

Judge Lyons's Court.
--Jas. M. D, Irvin was tried for obtaining one hundred and one dollars from Captain Waytt, C. S. Paymaster, on forged commutation papers, and the jury having heard the evidence he was acquitted.
Important Notice.
--I offer for sale a No. 1 steam saw mill, of Talbot &Ero's make, in running order, but the steam valves need some repairs; it is 25 horse power, with belts and all appurtenances complete.
