of cars. Six men were injured, more or less, mostly by jumping off the cars--two of them, we regret to learn, so seriously as to render it dangerous to bring them to Petersburg. The other four, whose names we give below, were brought to town yesterday morning and placed in the North Carolina hospital. Their injuries are comparatively light: F. E. Ashley, Co. B, Capt. Hurton. G. W. Norris, Co. B, Capt. Hurton. W. A. Helms, Co. D, Capt. Ashbury. Cearence Carter, Co. A, Capt. Hartrow. of cars.
