Court Proceedings. Grand Jury Presentments.--The Confederate States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, Judge James D Halyburton presiding, commenced its regular session, for the trial of criminal and other causes, on Thursday. There are some twenty-five or thirty offenders now incarcerated in the city jail. awaiting trial, many of whom are charged with the commission of the greatest offences against Confederate law. The following indictments were found by the Grand Jury on yesterday, viz: Henry Roberts, alias Wm H Barton; John McFadden; G M. Kilbrough (two cases;) Charles L Dibrell; Cary F Mundin and D Sardoni. The case against the last named being called, the District Attorney, by and with the advice of the Court, entered a nolle prosequi, and the prisoner, an Italian, was discharged from custody. Henry Smith, slave of James K Caskie, was also indicted yesterday, in three cases, for felony, in signing stolen sheets of Confederate Treasury notes, and passing
