Runaway--$25 reward
--For John, a Yellow man, tolerably bright, with quite a full head of hair, inclined to be very bushy.
He went to the 2d Market with my cart on the 17th of March, and left the cart in the street, and has not since been seen or heard from.
I will give the above reward if taken in this State, and $50 if taken in any other State.
John is quite intelligent and very polite.
He is about 28 to 30 years old, and has a small canon one of his hands.
He was dressed with blue homespun pants, and dark overcoat, and drab-colored felt hat, when he left.
He was hired by me of Wm N. Yarbour, adm'r of Jesse Yarbour, dec'd, of Hanover.
I will pay the above reward and all expenses if delivered to me in Richmond or lodged in jail, so that I get him again. reward Griffin [mh 21--eod2w*]
