operations soon to be Commenced. The telegrams from the Army of the Potomac say that the orders recently issued by Gen. Grant are regarded as significant of early and active operations. A letter from the army says Generals Meade, Humphreys, Ingalls, and Patrick, visited Lieutenant General Grant at Culpeper on Friday. The army has been considerably strengthened, and "the men are anxious for active operations."
