The Legislature. In the Senate, Joseph J. Graham, elected to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Col. William E. Peters, of the Forty-first District, appeared and took his seat. Mr. Alderson moved a resolution upon the expediency of exempting from taxation all non- commissioned officers and privates in the service.
