We, the undersigned, Directors the Bank of Pittsylvania, hereby certify that we have examined the foregoing statement and found the same to be correct: Richard Geo. Craft Geo. J. H. Hargrave, Wm. Rison. N. B.--Messrs. A. S. Buford and J. M. Walker are in the Confederate States Army. Messrs. W. W. Keen and Tarpley White absent from home. State of Virginia, County of Pittsylvania, Ss: This day L. B. Conway, cashier of the Bank of Pittsylvania, personally appeared before me, a Notary Public for the county aforesaid, and made oath that the foregoing statement exhibits the true condition of the Bank of Pittsylvania, as it existed on the first day of July last, to the best of his knowledge and belief.
